During our days in Harrisburg, Hazur‐Aqdas and his Qafila stayed at the Sheraton Hotel which was about fifteen minutes drive from the Jalsa. Hazur‐ Aqdas stayed on the fifth floor, as did the rest of us who had travelled with him from London. It was certainly a great honour for me to be able to stay so close to Hazur and I am sure it was the same for others.
Apart from the Qafila and the members of the USA Jamaat who were travelling with Hazur, many rooms of the hotel were also booked by Ahmadis who had come for Jalsa. I did not realise quite how many until I came down for Fajr prayers on Friday morning. The Jamaat had booked a large room for Fajr and when I entered it was filled with dozens if not hundreds of Ahmadis, whilst an adjacent room was filled with Ahmadi women.
