On 2nd July 2012, the final full day of Hazur’s visit to USA, in the late afternoon, Hazur’s elder brother, Dr Mirza Maghfoor Ahmad Sahib, mentioned to Hazur that there was a store nearby which sold hunting equipment. Thus suddenly and without any prior planning, Hazur agreed to visit the store.
It was a huge store filled with huge quantities of outdoor merchandise. The store was also decorated with many stuffed animals on display. Some of the stuffed animals, such as a bear, were really huge and so I spent much of the time in the store trying to determine if the stuffed animals were real or fake and ultimately concluded they were real!
Hazur spent around 30 or 40 minutes in the store looking at the hunting equipment and speaking to one or two of the people who worked there.
It seemed Masha’Allah as though Hazur enjoyed the outing.
As we returned to the hotel, Hazur did not go back to his residence but straight to his office. Immediately Hazur began meeting the Ahmadis in Mulaqat again and this lasted for the next couple of hours until it was time for Maghreb and Isha.
