We returned home late afternoon and so lunch was well after 4pm.
For many years I had heard about Chicago’s famous ‘deep‐dish pizza’ and when we sat for lunch I saw that our hosts had very kindly ordered some of this well‐ known pizza.
I took one slice and it was huge and thick and enough to fill my stomach completely. It was also very delicious Masha’Allah.
I could now say that I had also tried one slice of the famous Chicago pizza!
