U vrijeme njegovog ubistva, njegove posljednje riječi bile su: „Kad postajem šehid zbog Islam akao Musliman, nije me briga na koji bok padam nakon ubistva, sve je to u ime Allaha ...”Takv je bio njegov standard ljubavi i pobožnosti. Prije nego što je bio ubijen, jedina njegova želja koju je izrazio bila je da klanja nafilu pred svojim Gospodinom. Također je želio da se njegov selam prenese Časnom Poslaniku (s.a.v.s.) i Svemogući Allah mu jeispuni i tu želju.
