Zbog kršćanstva i također zbog medija Halloween se raširio svuda po svijetu, pogotovu na Zapadu, SAD-u, Kanadi, Japanu, Novom Zelandu, Australiji i nekim evropskim zemljama. Huzur je rekao da je ova praksa skriveno zlo. Muslimani na Zapadu to posvajaju. Djeca se oblače u kostime i idu od vrata do vrata tažeći nešto da donesu okrepu duhovima. Navodno, ako kućanstvo dadne nešto djeci odjevenoj u kostim mrtvi neće povrijediti to kućanstvo. Zaista se sve to smatra dobrom zabavom, no ideja iza svega toga je bazirana na širku.
